My long standing, trusting clients had been looking for a place in Galveston for years and finally landed on this gorgeous home that was designed with stunning artwork as the central focus. The vision was to create a transitional, airy, dog-friendly beach house where my clients can live happily and easily and enjoy it on weekend getaways. I utilized a mix of neutral, soft blues, and white colors, put an emphasis on special rugs, and incorporated pops of color from the artwork and linens in order to achieve this light and bright aesthetic.

At Ginger Barber Interior Design, our design philosophy revolves around creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and inviting. We believe that every home should reflect the personality and lifestyle of its inhabitants while providing a sense of tranquility and comfort.
This approach is evident in the Galveston Bay House project, where we emphasized a coastal retreat aesthetic. By using a palette of soft blues and whites, we aimed to evoke the serenity of the nearby bay, ensuring that the environment feels both refreshing and calming.
The Galveston Bay House features several key design elements that enhance its overall aesthetic and functionality. One of the standout features is the use of special rugs that add warmth and texture to the space, creating a cozy atmosphere for both residents and guests.
Additionally, we incorporated pops of color through carefully selected artwork and linens, which not only bring vibrancy to the interiors but also serve as focal points that draw the eye and encourage conversation. These elements work together harmoniously to embody the essence of coastal living.
Understanding the needs of our clients and their furry companions, we prioritized a dog-friendly design in the Galveston Bay House. This approach ensures that the space is not only stylish but also practical for pet owners, allowing for a seamless integration of comfort and functionality.
Features such as durable fabrics, easy-to-clean surfaces, and designated areas for pets contribute to a harmonious living environment. We believe that a home should accommodate all family members, including pets, making it a welcoming space for everyone.
The gallery of the Galveston Bay House showcases a selection of images that highlight the various design elements and finishes used throughout the project. Each photograph captures the essence of the coastal retreat aesthetic, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the serene atmosphere.
From the tranquil color palette to the carefully curated decor, the gallery serves as a source of inspiration for potential clients seeking to transform their own spaces. It exemplifies our commitment to delivering high-quality interior design that resonates with the lifestyle and preferences of our clients.
